Dr. Robert F. Rando began his career at the Centers for Disease Control in Atlanta and over the years has changed locations, traveled extensively, published in peer reviewed scientific journals. Dr. Rando is skilled at problem solving and translating technical information to a variety of diverse audiences. He and his family (wife, two children) put down roots in Hunterdon County at the beginning of this century and began writing fiction, under a pen name, shortly thereafter. His first work of fiction was published in 2006. As the proud co-owner of The Book Garden, new challenges emerged; the store needed an updated History of Frenchtown book. When not writing History or Fiction, Robert produces the River Town Radio Theatre productions which air on WDVR in Sergeantsville, NJ.
